Domain Registration in place
We have begun the process of moving web pages to the NOLA webserver and registering Domain Names. Yesterday, Bristol Library's registration was sent in and the pages should be on the server by week's end. NetForce will be able to access the pages to finish working on them. Once Bristol staff receives site administration training in May, they will be able to update and add to their pages. Once registration is complete, you will find the Bristol pages at http://www.bristol.lib.oh.us

Stay tuned as I will be posting a page with the procedure to register your name if you will be placing your pages on the NOLA webserver.

Title III Web Development Grant
If you are a participant in the Web grant and still have not forwarded your material to us or NetForce, you need to get something to us REAL soon. The project is coming

Forums

Tune in to The Library Channel
There are at least two library organizations within NOLA that are implementing this product. We have begun a forum devoted to discussion about configuration, security and other issues with the software. I have made a call to the manufacturer to encourage their participation in this forum. What we hopefully end up with is a customized technical support and general discussion space to work through the implementation of this product. The address of the forum is nola.int.thelibrarychannel

Classified ads
Ever on the lookout for the killer app, the Webmaster has hatched a wily plan for the ultimate forum; nola.int.forsale. Visit this virtual bizarre to let other members know of old lawnmowers, Barbie dolls, cars or other miscellaneous you would like to sell.

The Inkwell
Want to carry on a conversation with your peers throughout NOLA? Are you on a break and desiring to discuss last night's Indian's game? Then, The Inkwell is just for you.

Notes from the Clerk-Treasurer, Melissa Lattanzi

Keep your eyes open for your Continuing Education Statements. They will be in the mail soon.
