Youth Services "Professional Resources Bibliography"

Of interest to Youth Services Professionals, we have added this comprehensive resource list compiled by Sue Nespeca McCleaf. Go to the Professional Resources Bibliography link on the Youth Services section of the NOLA Desktop

Kit photographs

We are starting to get photographs of the kits placed online. This will enable you to "preview" the resources in order to determine suitability. Currently, you can view three kits; Rain Forest, Food and Sea Creatures.
We will also be putting a simple paragraph description to help you out. Future enhancements to this online "catalog" will include a feedback form for Children's Librarians to comment on the kits.

In the Members section, we added links to OVAL and INFOhio. Speaking of INFOhio, Paul Pormen recently submitting information to the Daily Desktop about the Buckeye Children's Book Awards. Thanks, Paul.

Fas-Track has Microsoft Frontpage for $99.95

If your library will be using Frontpage to build and maintain your site, you can purchase it from Fas-Track for $99.95. Fas-Track can be reached at (800) 927-3936 or you can visit their website at http://www.fastrack.com

You can also get this program from mailorder. MicroWarehouse gives pretty good deals to libraries. Contact Thaddeus Susara at [email protected] for the latest prices.

New Domain Name Registrations

We recently submitted two new Domain Name Registrations; carnegie.lib.oh.us for Carnegie Public Library of East Liverpool and nola.lib.oh.us as an additional doorway into the NOLA pages. Watch these addresses for coming attractions.
