The Desktop News Delivered to Your Email Box

Some NOLA members have begun to take advantage of a new service where the Desktop News is sent directly to their email. This is an exciting way to stay abreast of current developments within NOLA. The only catch is that you need to be using one of the graphical based POP mail readers like Netscape or Internet Explorer 3.0. The benefits are that you get graphics and links built right into your email with all of the interactivity of a webpage. If you would like to subscribe to this service, simply fill out this application.

New NOLA Resource Page for Universal Access and the Telecomm Bill

Since this bill has the potential to save libraries large amounts of their budget, we have decided to create a resource page. Visit http://www.nolanet.org/tech/uniserv.htm for information.
