Forums slowly coming around

If you haven't visited NOLA's new look forums, you should. We are starting to get some participation. As the interest grows, we are investigating a new forum software package. There are currently 4 forums open; Webmasters, The Library Channel, ILL and Reference.

 

August Technology Consultant visits being scheduled

Well, as July winds down, I have visited several member sites and learned an awful lot. I am now in the process of scheduling more visits for August, so expect a call soon.

 

New public library/school cooperation group getting underway

A group of NOLA members as well as some folks from the education world have begun to meet to work on a project to improve communication and cooperation between the two. We will be posting information as it develops as well as a web address to catch up on progress. NOLA committee members include Peter Kozup, Cecilia Swanson, Tony Petruzzi, Kay Wise, Paul Pormen, Sue McCleaf Nespeca and Ken Bell.
