Online Bookstores One of the True Success Stories on the Web

As the last few years have produced more paradigm shifts and bootstrapped ideas, a strange success has occured. Businesses selling books online. Of course, everyone has heard of Amazon; which bills itself as Earth's biggest bookstore. But did you know Barnes and Noble has made it to the net in a big way. Others include Borders, Book Stacks and Seaside Book and Stamp. Check out Yahoo's site for a comprehensive listing of folks selling books online.

 

Recent Working Report of the ERate Working Group to the FCC

The E-Rate Implementation Working Group has released a report to the FCC making recommendations on (1) the design of application forms to be submitted by schools and libraries for Universal Service Fund (USF) support and (2) alternative measures for the required approval of technology plans as part of the E-rate application process.
