Nominating Committee
2000-2001

Annually, the Nominating Committee will meet after new Board of Trustee members have been elected in order to develop a slate of nominees for the next year. Every attempt will be made to identify qualified, potential candidates for the positions of Vice President / President Elect and Secretary. A slate of at least one candidate will be presented following nominations from the floor at the June Board Meeting.

The election of officers will be conducted at the organizational meeting in July following the swearing in of new board members.

In selecting possible candidates, the Committee is encouraged to seek out individuals who have not served as officers recently.

Careful attention should be given to ensuring representation of all types of member libraries.
