The  Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor uniquely displays the Mahoning Valley's (known as Steel Valley) contribution to the iron and steel industry. 

The museum's permanent exhibit is :
By the Sweat of Their Brow:  Forging the Steel Valley.
Includes life size scenes of mill locker rooms to help visitors understand the lifestyles of the workers.
