History of the
Kinsman Free Public Library
The first library in Kinsman opened in 1885 in a private residence. The present
library building was erected in 1912-13, with a construction grant from Andrew Carnegie.
The building remained largely unchanged until the 1980's, when it was expanded to
accommodate their growing collection.

ERIC
An easy link to ERIC, the Educational
Resources Information Center, is provided by the library's website to allow teachers and
educators access to a question and answer service for anyone involved in K-12 education,
lesson plan assistance, and the Ask ERIC toolbox, which provides listings of Internet
sites of interest to teachers. |
