First Month, First Chapters This was profiled in TDN previously, but I think it is a great idea. The New York Times Book Site has hundreds of first chapters online to bestselling books. On the library homepage, this could be great starting point to locate a good read. LJ's Year End Best Book List There's cod on this year's best books list. Not to mention polar bears, mathematicians, a photographer and a composer, battling politicians, an edgy pot farmer, a big flood, and plenty more you might not find on other lists.
