New York Public Library's Resource Guides

I spent an hour at the New York Public Library this morning and I never left my office in Warren. While there, I said hello to Winnie the Pooh and Patience and Fortitude. There is a tremendous wealth of information valuable to librarians at the NYPL Web site. Click here for a site review.

Ohio Reading Program Manual Online

Ruth Metcalf, Children's Coordinator at the State Library of Ohio has just announced that the Ohio Reading Program Manual is now online. This is a condensed version of the print manual and is meant to be a supplement that also includes links to nautical-related sites. Browse around in it - is is fun to enlarge the logos etc!

Burton Gets Scooter

We have been gifted with a motorized cart. I would like to know if any other libraries are providing access to such a vehicle for their physically challenged patrons. If so is it used and what about insurance? Thanks.
