Biometric Security
Tired of remembering 10 different passwords for your network, email, and other accounts?
Biometric security may be your solution in the not too distant future. Biometric security
involves using certain physical aspects of a person as the keys to authentication
(commonly used traits are: fingerprints, face and voice recognition). Some of the system
are now relatively inexpensive and have surprisingly good accuracy rates.

The Return of the Worm
Heard about Happy99.exe yet? Happy99.exe is a computer worm (which acts in a similar
manner as a computer virus) that is commonly distributed as an email attachment. The worm
makes no attempt to destroy or alter data on the host machine but it sends large amounts
of email and usenet postings without the knowledge of the user. The large amount of
network traffic generated by this virus can slow down or even crash mail servers. Most
major anti-virus have release patches offering protection against Happy99, check with your
anti-virus manufacturer for more information on protecting yourself from Happy99
