Description: Assist the library director in the supervision and operation of the library. Will serve as acting director in the director's absence. This position will act as head of adult services, help plan new service initiatives that will meet the goals and objectives of the long range plan and monitor existing service levels. Qualifications/Requirements: An understanding and commitment to efficient library functions essential. Must have knowledge of basic management principles, continuous improvement techniques and a vision for the role of technology in libraries. Must have a masters degree in library science from an ALA accredited program and a minimum of 5 years satisfactory professional experience. Salary: Salary range $37,000-$58,000.
