The Bloomfield-Mespo
Local School District |
The Bloomfield-Mespo Local
School District is the 5th smallest school district in the State of Ohio, but don't let
that fool you! Peter Kozup and Jill Warren (Bristol
Public Library) worked on and won almost $15,000 in the form of an LSTA mini-grant.
The funds have had a dramatic effect on the students' ability to access library resources
that were previously out of reach. Take a few minutes to explore their webpage and
dreams. |
The mascot of the school sports the school colors, proud and
majestic. The cardinal is abundant throughout the eastern seaboard and is welcome
everywhere it roams. Click on to this site to find out more about its community. |

The Bloomfield-Mespo School computer lab has been enhanced with the addition of six
workstations. Students have direct access to the Bristol Public Library. They can search
the BPL's catalog, order resources and have them delivered the next day.
On his list of things to do, Peter Kozup plans to work with the technology
coordinator to strengthen the website and link directly to other local libraries. |
The Bloomfield-Mesopotamia community is rich in civil war era history.
However, you will have to wait until September, 2000 to
experience the next Mesopotamia Civil War
Encampment.
In the meantime, you can read about the event by clicking on the link. While you
are looking around, you might also want to click on to the Ohio Civil War Pages.

The site offers some valuable links to Amish and Mennonite communities in
Northeast Ohio. |
