NOLA Deputy Director Resignation After ten years with the NOLA Regional Library System, Sue
McCleaf Nespeca has submitted her resignation effective May 31st. She is nationally known
for her work in Youth Services. While at NOLA Sue developed the Born to Read program, the
Picture Book Read-In/Mock Caldecott Election, the Early Childhood Literature Conference,
the NOLA Book Look program, the Pioneer Water Summer Reading Program, and the Youth
Services Symposium. Sue has also worked with the Virginia Hamilton Conference and will be
remembered for the consulting that she has done over the years with the children's
librarians in the NOLA libraries. She has also served as the Acting Director three times. Items submitted by: |
